Here are some pictures of the construction of the Mobile Launch Platform as it stands today (04/15/04). I would guess im like 75% done on this part of the project. I keep finding things to add or change. This was the first piece i built and there were a couple of errors, but what the hell its a model.

Here is a view of the whole mobile launch platform.
I had painted some areas to get an idea of what it will look like.
Its hard looking at white styrene and clear acrylic.
The platform is made of wood with acrylic and styrene over it.

Here is a view from the top.
One mistake i made is putting the service masts parallel to the platform. they are actually at a slight angle to conform th the shuttle wings.
